Leaflet
When blowout preventers (BOPs) are tested, it is necessary that the results of that test be communicated effectively both to external regulators and to internal users. External regulators need to assess whether or not tests were performed in compliance with relevant regulations. Internal users also need to assess compliance but also need to assess crew performance week-after-week and to compare the performance of different rigs in its fleet.
Solution
Leaflet produces reports in a standardized format, week-after-week on every rig. Leaflet ingests the proprietary GreenLight files that are generated during BOP testing and uses them to generate a *.pdf report which includes a summary table, a summary chart of the entire BOP test series and detailed tables and charts for each of the individual BOP tests in the test series. Leaflet was originally designed to generate reports tailored to meet the exacting standards of the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE). However, Leaflet – like all of the tools in the GreenLight Suite – are under active development. A report designed to meet requirements stipulated by a regulatory body anywhere in the world – or within your own organization – can be created.
Leaflet has been in use in the field since GreenLight was approved for use as the system-of-record for BOP tests by the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) in 2015 and again in 2017. It has been used at various locations worldwide for BOP testing since that time.
